EVIL LESBIAN CEO was a satirical comedy I wrote and performed at Black Spark Cultural Centre for the 2024 Melbourne Fringe Festival — soundtracked almost entirely by Tinashe.
The show deliberated on queer critical theory and questioned the motives
of out lesbian and Woodside CEO, Meg O’Neil—whose company is behind Australia’s biggest
and most polluting fossil fuel venture, the North West Shelf Project.
It dared ask what nobody else would: can a CEO frack the planet and still be part of the LGBTQIA+ community?
